"When we arrived for our “deluxe room”, we were put in a nasty motel building next to the main building. It smelled terrible and musky right when you walked in. It was pretty cold so we put the heat on immediately and the heater was extremely loud. We then went to the main building and asked if we could upgrade. The woman explained the upgrades to us and said that they had a handicap accessible room available in which we took because we wanted to get out of the yucky motel. When we got to the room, everything seemed fine other than that it wasn’t explained to us that it would be a little different. We didn’t have a nice shower and the bathroom was different. (Same price as regular room upgrade) The heating system didn’t work properly and both mornings we woke up to tons of construction sounds from the room above us. I called and complained, and it did not stop. It was going on pretty late at night as well. It was never explained to us that there would be construction in the room above our heads. We also had to call maintenance pretty late at night because our TV did not work and the phone did not work. They just weren’t hooked up or something. We upgraded to a better room and paid more money and it honestly didn’t seem that way. The towels in the room smelled weird also. "
"Room was clean. Holes in walls. The physical plug at the desk had been pulled out of the wall partly
There was no shower curtain. When i asked about breakfast, the desk person told me there would be no breakfast but they would put together a bag of items. The items consisted of vending machine items i.e...2 chockate chip muffins, rice krispie treet, cheese crakers and a small plastic bottle of Sunny D. This is not what their advertisement indicated. The halls in the building was freezing cold. I would not recommend it to anyone"
"Being the middle of winter, it still offered a beautiful view of the lake and mountains. The lodge was beautiful and well stocked with everything you need. "
