Unfortunately, everything else fell well below expectations. Communication from the host was virtually non-existent. Despite the listing stating that check-in instructions would be sent by email, I received nothing after booking and none of my messages through Expedia or calls to the provided mobile number were answered....

Even a Christmas tree which was a lovely surprise. Once we had a direct contact number for the property the communication was fantastic with check in details and instructions provided. "Roseleigh Cottage is a lovely little house. It is ideally situated in central Cookham a stones throw from the Thames tow path and close to a range of pubs and other places to eat. The cottage is very well equipped and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay as did our dog who appreciated the many walks thereabouts."
