"Unbelievable apartment!!! What a find, from the moment I found The Rockefeller on Expedia to arrival through to the end of the stay everything was the best!! Not going to gointo much detail as wouldn’t want to ruin anybody else’s experience but I will say you won’t be disappointed, everything about the apartment is funky, design led and luxurious from the furnishings to the artwork and even the kitchen and bathroom are of the highest spec. "Lovely decor, had a mix of modern and rustic which was lovely and some of the stone wall original features. It had everything you need, was warm and comfy. Beds were comfy and the shower was really good too. Lovely touch leaving little gift for the dogs, and the communication with the host was very good. We would rebook if we return to the area!"

"There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher and parking was a nightmare; other cars were in the spot that were suppose to be designated for the listing. We had to pay to park over night. Pill out bed is not very comfortable. The host had great communication when we had trouble with accessing the check in instructions. Overall, wish the dishes in the dishwasher had been dealt with correctly as we planned on eating breakfast there in the morning before leaving but had no clean cutlery!"

"Good location positioned less than 1 mile to Windermere town centre or the lake at Bowness. 20-30 yards to regular bus service to Iimmediate areas as well as Kendal/Keswick/Grasmere. Parking is a nightmare, as while there are spaces near the property they were constantly occupied or reserved with parking cones. We managed to get parked nearby eventually but used the bus to get around so we didn’t lose the space.Building entrance is easily accessible direct from the kerb but was very unkempt....

"Super apartment, just off the main road so nice and quiet. Well stocked with cooking equipment , great shower and comfy beds to boot. Very clean and would recommend staying again."

"Great property which actually has views of the lake and is ideally situated - close to everything but also quiet. The property was immaculately clean with all the utensils that you need for cooking. Lovely clean, fresh bedding and towels. Tea, coffee and sugar were provided along with the basics like salt, pepper and oil. Shampoo, conditioner and body wash were also provided. Only slight criticisms would be not a great deal of storage available for food and it would be nice if a few coathangers...

"Comfortable cozy apartment, ideal location, well equipped. Some minor improvements could be :Floor sealant in the bathroom could do with renewing. The wardrobe should not be used to store the cleaning equipment, hoover, mop etc. Overall would recommend this property."
