"Spent a wonderful 3 nights at Alderley house with friends. House very well equipped, plenty of crockery , glasses etc. Very comfortable living room and lovely and warm . Bedrooms amazing, large and all en suite. Spotlessly clean throughout. Location very good , 10 -15 min walk to Bourton high street . Can recommend Birdland ! Hope to stay here again. "Barton Cottage is a lovely property in the beautiful Bourton on the Water. There is a lot to do just walking around the village (kid friendly)and nearby villages. There are great dining options nearby. We enjoyed the comfortable living room. We did have trouble finding the property and couldn’t get ahold of the management service. The gps coordinates on Expedia are inaccurate and the street was dark. The property is the right next to the Mousetrap Inn. It has a sign that was difficult to...

"This is wonderful place to stay. The photos don't do the size of the rooms justice. Very comfortably furnished with thoughtful touches from the host. Thank you particularly for the toys that kept our little ones busy over Christmas. Will keep this place in mind next time we want to stay near the village."
