"The hotel location is very central and well known to taxi and Uber drivers. Several landmarks are within walking distance. The rooftop is a lovely open area, perfect for views on a sunny day. The check in time is 2 pm and the check out is at noon. The breakfast offers a wide variety of options, from cereal, pastries, fresh fruits, eggs, sausages, to juices, coffee, tea and milk. Rooms are meticulously cleaned every day, and towels are extra large and luxurious. The thermostat in the room actually works and can be set to warm up or cool the room (which is not always the case at other locations). The staff speaks English and can offer basic directions to landmarks, pharmacy, and banks. They made copies of our documents for an appointment at the Embassy. Upon our request, the maintenance person attempted to fix the closet sliding door, but it still did not work quite right. Our advice to management: 1. The property is historic and beautiful, but please invest in some updates and ensure all the mechanic parts work properly. 2. Also, it would be helpful if the front desk staff were familiar with the Uber app, so they could provide advice on its settings in Argentina, as it works differently then in the US or Europe -- with a default to cash payment, which was an unpleasant surprise. 3. It would also be helpful if they were more familiar with neighborhood shops and stores, so they could help find a store that offers phone chargers or a pharmacy open late."

"The room I was assigned after booking was incorrect. I booked a premium king and instead was given a 3 x single bed "suite". The condition of the room was not great. All of the beds and furniture were worn and marked. There was only one functional small elevator out of 3 operating which led to huge queues and significant waits with guests having to resort to using the narrow emergency exit stairs. I have stayed in many NH hotels across Europe and this hotel does not meet this standard. Disappointed."

"The rooms are tinny and the heating/cooling system is for the entire floor not for each room. You will need to contact reception to set the temperature in your room which is annoying. The hotel is well located but for the price you can find a better and cheaper options around the area. It should not be 4.5 stars. Staff is rude, breakfast starts at 7am, I had an early flight and was in the breakfast area at 6:50am everything was set up but the waitress came upset to tell me I could not seat there yet. I have explained I had a flight and I had already paid for breakfast but she did not care. Staff in reception is also rude. You do not have the option to pay for breakfast some days and not for others. It's mandatory to either add breakfast all days or do not, which is inconvenient. Upon arrival, the reception staff will give you vouchers with discounts for restaurants in the area, those are tourist traps, do not take them. the quality is not great and is overpriced."

"Habitaciones con techos con humedad telas de arañas, sábanas, mantas y toallas muy viejas y manchadas, la infraestructura del hotel, 1 ascensor malogrado, tuve que pagar otro hotel para poder descansar cómodos y tranquilos, tengo los comprobantes, solo un counter, ni sofás para la espera al checkin del hotel, solicito la devolución del dinero, terriblemente malo el hospedaje, porque lo califican como bueno sino es así, gastar dinero por algo que no lo vale. Nos llevamos una muy mala experiencia con ese hotel. No usamos ni la calefacción porque salían el moho, solicité el cambio de habitación, pero en esos 2 días ni siquiera llamaron a la habitación para hacer el cambio. Viajé con mis padres ( que ya son personas de la tercera edad ) y los hice pasar un mal rato, mi hermano, esposo y menor hija."
