"It's a little bit tired to be honest. The room was spacious and reasonably well equipped. But, the towel rail did not work and the heating system was a bit iffy, so getting the right temperature was a bit of a trial; and the first day was pretty chilly. "Due to the wildfire in Bordeaux, we changed our hotel to O’Nice and stayed for 2 nights, the location is perfect for sightseeing around the region, took us 35 mins driving to Cognac, and 40 mins to Royan. Our room was not big, but a/c was quite good in such hot weather. Parking space is generous and very secure, and the restaurant next to the hotel is always busy, we’ll give it a try next time."
