First of all the location right on the edge of the historical center is terrific. An easy walk to the main squares. It’s a luxurious property full of amenities and well thought out public and private spaces. Will definitely return if we go back to Bolzano. One slight concern is the room size. We had a lovely garden room with small patio. This helped with the otherwise well appointed tinyness of the room itself.

I absolutley loved my stay at the castel. I was without my husband and felt safe and enjoyed the little piece of heaven away from the old city. Very walkable to downtown and close to the running trail by the water. Also, easy to walk to the cable cars to teka you up the mouontain to Renon. Highly recommend!

This property is absolutely amazing! It is beautifully appointed & within walking distance to everything in Bolzano. The staff is what really elevates this property, as they go above and beyond to make sure everything is as expected! This is a beautiful property run by excellent staff who are very friendly. The restaurant for dinner provides amazing food at very reasonable prices with terrific ambiance. It is also very close (walkable) to where the gondola goes up into the Dolomites. We would highly recommend staying at this location

One of the best in Süd Tytol.

Very good over all, the restaurant at the Hotel was excellent, also the breakfast. Warm welcome and friendly and supportive and competent staff. Excellent GYM. Maybe not a place for children. Pool area are a relaxing area rather that a pool area, although the pool itself was nice but not that big, it does for the place.

Just when you least expect it! After a crash on the A22, we had an unanticipated stay in Bozen/ Bolzano. This Hotel is incredible - the attention to detail is exceptional, but also the team is excellent. This whole hotel is a hidden gem. Pool was piping hot in February. Amazing!

Excellent Service & Cleanliness

Castel Hörtenberg accommodation is excellent. The cleanliness and customer service by all the team (front desk, staff that maintain Castel common area and room clean, bar & restaurant staff is excellent. Special thank you to Hannan who welcomed us every morning for breakfast with a wonderful brilliant smile. Improvement feedback-we would have appreciated to be advised parking charges instead we were presented parking charges at checkout.
