Hotel has a superb location one block from the Neptune Piazza in the Bologna historic center, with lots of restaurants, shops, and things to do within walking distance. Hotel breakfast is very good with lots of variety and a great cappuccino! Easy access from main train station and airport. It is a great hotel to visit Bologna!

Perfectly located to access all the major attractions. We loved that and walked all over Bologna exploring. We had a lovely room with a terrace overlooking the city. The breakfast buffet was comprehensive and had something for everyone. Highly recommend this centrally located hotel.

This hotel is in an excellent location for visiting central Bologna. It is an older building, being in the historical centre, but well-maintained and very clean. Others have noted the bathroom which has a very compact shower but otherwise is quite modern. Breakfasts are excellent. We ate in the dining room one night and thought the choices available and the quality of the food to be very good. The staff were very welcoming. We would recommend the Hotel Roma without hesitation.

Excellent location. Large and comfortable room with modern touches and a very generous bathroom, including a full sized tub. The bed could have been more comfortable but otherwise everything about the hotel was great. You really can’t beat the location. Would come back here anytime.

I love the location. Breakfast is ok, not the best. Staff weren't always in the breakfast room to assist. However, the beds need to be upgraded. They are not very comfortable.

The property was excellent for an older hotel. It was clean and everything seemed in working order. The staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was on point, with many options and tasty meats and cheeses. One huge point was the gluten free options. My travel companion is extremely allergic to wheat and the options for her were outstanding. I would definitely stay here again.

The bed arrangement was perfect for my sister and I. (Two twin beds) The bathroom was a little challenging for showering due to the location of the toilet and tub. There was approximately 12 inches between the two. The hotel was very clean, the staff was friendly and helpful, and the breakfast which was included was very tasty. It also had an elevator which was helpful for getting our luggage to our room on the third floor. The location was very close to the basilica with shopping and cafes very convenient.

Hotel Roma was fantastic! The room was nice and the location was even better. Plenty to do within walking distance. The staff were helpful with getting a taxi and the restaurant for lunch was very good. The included breakfast was much more than we expected based on the typical American hotel and the staff for breakfast were very helpful and courteous. We would recommend Hotel Roma highly.

The staff were friendly and helpful. The location was excellent. The breakfast was amazing. The shower was very tiny and the room definitely smelled of old smoke. However it had an old world feel and the air conditioning was working. Overall great stay for the two nights we were there.
