"We really enjoyed our stay in Mexican Hat while visiting Monument Valley! The property is a little dated, but everything was clean, and the beds, sheets, and pillows were incredibly comfortable. The air conditioner was a bit loud, but overall, we had a very comfortable stay. The pool and hot tub were wonderful additions, especially after a long day of hiking and driving. Sitting by the fire and watching the Milky Way was a highlight! The location was convenient, with Monument Valley about 20 minutes away and a great restaurant next door for steak lovers. It’s an excellent option if you want to explore the area without paying the higher prices of staying right in Monument Valley. Our only disappointment was that the front desk welcome could have been warmer and friendlier. The property itself was great, though, and we left wishing we had booked more than one night!"

"Absolutely love the location and sitting by the river in the evening was just magic. There is a restaurant and the food is just fine, but highly recommend bringing your own food and enjoying the views from the sitting area of the river. Room was clean. Staff was helpful. Will definitely stay here again."

"The motel was convenient to my needs. Just don't count on food from the K-C Gas station next door. (The rug could use a shampoo), but housekeeping did an efficient job of keeping my room clean."

"If you are looking for a great night sky and privacy -this is it-. Just make sure to come prepared due to it's remoteness. Kitchen is somewhat limited, but manageable."
Stunning Views: Quiet Bluff Home Near Hiking!

"My wife and I had a great stay at this property. Our host was fantastic and exceedingly helpful with ideas on where to eat and go to see the National Parks near Bluff. We can't complimentary her enough.Also the property was very clean and she has toiletry items there if you have forgotten something. Last thing, her washer and dryer are top notch. Cleaned our clothes better than home."

"This property was perfect for our visit to Monument Valley. My wife and I stayed two nights and enjoyed breakfast on the porch and the evening sunset on the surrounding bluffs. While we didn't have our dogs with us, this property is pleasantly fenced all around and provides privacy from neighbors."
