"When I checked in I was told that I did not pay. After producing the receipt and proof of payment I was allowed to go to the room. The room heater was on in the middle of summer and to my frustration there was no working remote to off the heater. Ac not working and had to kill quite a few mosquitoes. No attention by the staff and very poorly trained. What a disappointment "

"There were cockroches in the bathroom. According to the Hoteis.com the breakfast was included, but according to the owner the site was wrong, and offered the breakfast with a charge."

"Only thing was location - it's more out of the way. But there's a charm to that and the staff is still great."

"We drove through a residential area to get to the property. It was not a nice area. There were abandoned houses, broken lampposts, high security round properties. It did not feel a safe area. No shops or restaurants. We would not have been able to walk there. We felt very uncomfortable and decided that we did not want to stay there. We have requested a refund but have been refused by hotels. Com as they say they can’t get hold of the property. I find that completely unacceptable. "

"O quarto não condiz com o apresentado no site O atendente nos direcionou para outro lugar que fedia e com a agua que saia da torneira marrom. Voltamos para reclamar, ele queria cobrar outro valor pela mudanca do quarto. Negamos a pagar e assim sendo, nos mudou de quarto, que estava disponível. Nao entendi porque fez isso com a gente, que iriamos passar somente uma noite. "

"We enjoyed our stay here, great option for short stopovers in Port Elizabeth."

"Cozy and friendly staff"

"The perfect night stay for traveling late night or early morning! Walking distance from/to the airport!"

"Excelente hotel para pasar unos dias en Port a Elizabeth"

"“Cold” reception on arrival from male staff member. Although, we requested/booked a room with a queen size bed, our room sadly had 2 single beds. However, the room was luxurious with a perfect view. The staff serving breakfast were exceptional. Thanks 😊"

"All good was a great choice and great location"

"Hotel was nice, although we were the only guests, which felt slightly strange. There had been a mix up and we got a double room instead of a twin but it was sorted out and we were given breakfast as an apology. Large comfy room and pleasant staff. We went to a nice restaurant within walking distance but the location didn't really feel ideal."

"Could be a bit cleaner. Small parking spaces but good location"

"bom custo benefício. Quarto pequeno. Estacionamento muito bom."

"Nice property but the see through toilet door, in line of the view from bed, is not the level of privacy I expected. The drains were sending fumes into the shower cubicle."

"Very nice stay, ok spot and felt safe"

"Sehr nette Gastgeber. Die Zimmer war ebenfalls gut und das Frühstück wird jeden Morgen frisch zubereitet. Als kleinen Hinweis für die Gastgeber wäre noch zu überlegen, eine weitere indirekte Beleuchtung im Zimmer. Sonst sehr zu empfehlen."

"Always a good stay at Forest Hall. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and anything you might need provided."
