Great place one of the breakfast places

A beautiful renovated castle in the Hartz mountains. I chose the hotel for it's location. The staff were very nice, the room was small however was clean, the restaurant dinner was excellent, a large buffet breakfast.

The hotel was near the hiking trails to both peaks, the food was well prepared with a good variety available, and the room was very comfortable. The parking, which was stated on the Expedia description page as free, was actually not free and the sauna had not yet opened.

This hotel is a small, family run hotel that is very lovely and restored so beautifully. The hotel is roomy, quiet, and a wonderful stay. Don't expect a lot of service extras, as reception has only a few hours a day, but they are available in case of emergencies. If you are looking for a quiet, tranquil get away, this is a perfect place. The breakfast buffet was delicious and had variety from day to day as well. Highly recommend.

Lovely hotel: beautifully decorated, nice patio area, delicious breakfast. Exceeded our expectations. Would have liked to stay longer.

Spectacular location. Spectacular price. Wonderful staff. Great breakfast. It was exactly what we were looking for. It was great value.

This is a great hotel for a family vacation! Lots to do in the area and there is a buffet for breakfast and dinner in the hotel. Our room was very clean and spacious. The front desk staff was very friendly when we checked in.

The room was wonderful, it was very quiet, romantic, comfortable bed, newly renovated bathroom. Great balcony overlooking the garden. The breakfast and dinner were excellent. Beautiful old building that is maintained very well. Old and new in perfect harmony. The staff was very friendly and helpful Would love to stay there again

Beautiful hotel in a beautiful location.

Simple but lovely European breakfast was included. Super clean, new or newly renovated rooms.
