"Greeted at the door by site manager and given a tour of the facilities. We had the private ensuite room and was everying we needed. The shared kitchen had all the kitchen stuffs you would require. The house in down a long drive that's very bumpy so don't bring your sports car. Unfortunately the weather was not good so we will have to be back to explore the area again some time soon"

The Alyth Hotel

"My Partner and I arrived for checkin an hour early for a two night break. We decided to have a refreshment in the bar. The lady ( Ashley ) who served us, very kindly went to check if our room was ready and came back with the keys to our room, so great checkin experience. Our room overlooked the small river which flows through Alyth and was nicely decorated. The room & king size bed was very clean and comfortable. Room was serviced next morning with clean set of towels. We ate in the hotel both nights and we both enjoyed our meals. The serving staff were great, food was great and we sat at a table next to a cosy fire. Parking is plentiful on the street outside the hotel and at the public car park just over the small bridge which spans the river opposite. Great cooked breakfast options, overall a decent price. We would definitely stay here again…"

The Pitlochry Hydro Hotel

8/10 Good

"Lovely family 2 night stay. Free parking. The pool , jacuzzi,sauna,gym were good. Rooms a bit cold, but portable radiators were provided. If you book dinner, bed and breakfast you are restricted to a separate 3 course menu, with no option to choose from other menu without being charged. A better idea would be allowance from normal menu. All in all a good stay with good staff."
