The warm and welcoming exterior sets the tone for a relaxing stay, whether you're here for a campus visit, nature getaway, or weekend escape. Surrounded by trees and greenery, this peaceful location offers the perfect balance of privacy and convenience, just minutes from downtown Blacksburg and Virginia Tech. A perfect first impression to your countryside retreat.

We want to make sure you have the utmost convenience! You'll be provided an access code to the back entrance prior to check-in. The owners are local, and will be able to be reached by platform messaging during the duration of your stay.

Our cozy retreat at Clay St SE, Blacksburg is perfectly situated near top attractions:

Just 1.2 mi (3 min drive) from the heart of Virginia Tech campus and bustling downtown

A short 14 mi (23 min drive) brings you to Radford University

Nature lovers will appreciate Claytor Lake State Park only 25 mi (34 min drive) away - ideal for swimming, boating, hiking, and fishing

All areas of the home and property are open for guests

Single level, with full kitchens, smart TVs, WiFi, laundry, and plenty of outdoor space and parking.

-There is a fire pit, please bring your own fire wood.

Propane (for grill):
1. There MAY BE a propane tank available at the house.
2.If you see a tank, you may use it for the grill.
3.If the tank is empty, guests are responsible for refilling it.
4.We DO NOT provide propane refills.

Amazing gem at the top of Clay Street

The second we opened the door we knew we had picked a winner. The pictures did not do the rental justice. It was much bigger than expected with separate living and kitchen areas. The two bedrooms were also separated by the kitchen. The rental was spotless and very well decorated. We used the fire pit one night and that was nice. We were greeted by a family of deer several nights. The kitchen was stocked with just enough stuff for a short stay and was super clean. We were there for the Metallica concert but wouldn't hesitate to rent it again for future visits. Highly recommend.
