In less than an hour on the deck, we saw pileated woodpecker, eastern bluebird, red-bellied woodpecker, white-breasted nuthatch, dark-eyed junco, carolina wren, and blue jay, and heard barred owl, red-shouldered hawk, cardinal, carolina chickadee, downy woodpecker, white-throated sparrow, and tufted titmouse.The house is organized, clean, and decorated with taste. Its location is perfect for exploring nearby Elephant Rocks State Park and Johnson’s Shut-Ins State Park, both of which we loved."
