Blackhead Beach at Hallidays Point. Slightly off the tourist track is this nestled piece of paradise. Pristine sandy beach which is easy to walk along, collect shells, walk to the volcanic rock formations which jut out to the left, and the sandstone rocks. Head right and you will discover rock pools with oceans living creatures waiting till the next high tide. See if you can spot an octopus or a Port Douglas Shark even star fish. 2 ocean pools which are cleaned regularly caters for Adults and children. A great surf beach.
