"We cannot thank Oddny and her son enough for the tremendous assistance they did for us. During our trip in Norway, our two Canadian passports were found at TORP Airport, hundreds of kilometres away from where we were staying in Lofoten. We were running out of time before leaving Norway, and normal mail would not arrive in time. Oddny immediately stepped in to help. She contacted TORP Airport, coordinated with a courier company, arranged the pickup, paid the airport administration fee on our behalf to avoid any delay, and even personally collected our passports after they arrived at Leknes Airport. Her son also spent considerable time contacting the courier and coordinating the shipment. Thanks to their extraordinary kindness, initiative and persistence, we received our passports in time and were able to continue our journey without having to apply for emergency travel documents or change our travel plans. This was far beyond what anyone would normally expect from a hotel host. We will never forget their generosity and genuine care. Thank you, Oddny and your son, from the bottom of our hearts. We hope to return to Lofoten one day, and we will certainly stay here again. Finally, if you and your family ever visit Toronto, Canada, we would be honoured to host you. Our home will always be open to you, and it would be our pleasure to return even a small part of the kindness you have shown us. ❤️ ❤️ ❤️"

"Loved the lodge. Clean, comfortable snd kitchen well stocked. Staff rarely on site but that was expected as they clearly stated in the information. Codes provided for room access. There was info posted at the office for excursions. There was no information about breakfast. In fact we did not know breakfast was included. On the second morning the chef knocked on room doors to tell people about breakfast in the big house. It was delicious with fresh baked bread, egg soufflé and other nice options. Please put up a sign at the office about breakfast and where it is located. We were disappointed to have missed it on our first morning."

"This place is very beautiful because it’s right next to the water. I got to enjoy morning coffee in a freezing cold weather with a beautiful view. It is in close proximity to all of the places in Lofoten . We spent all of our four nights in Lofoten here to avoid hotel hopping, and it was the best decision. The only thing that is inconvenient is that they limit laundry hours. Sometimes when we have to to head out we are not back in time to do our clothes and the laundry is already closed."

"Amazing staff. We loved our stay here. Very friendly. The location is hard to beat right in the middle of town and on the water. Parking is a little tricky but they were helpful and we were able to find parking even in busy July. There’s no AC but we just opened our windows and was cold enough. Beds very comfy. Free tea and coffee in lobby during reception hours. There’s no reception after 11pm so you have to make sure to keep your key to access the hotel. They serve breakfast and lunch for a fee. No dinner here or restaurant or bar. They do offer a bar and restaurant next door at their sister hotel but you have to walk 100 meters. You can’t bring outside food in and eat in the lobby. Thought that was weird. No fridges in rooms but reception offered to keep our things in their fridge. Umbrellas available. Overall a very cool place and would recommend!"

"Good location with grocery store nearby. Clean and fairly quiet room. Free parking. Easy check-in and out. Not the best breakfast but okay. Wish the TV had actual channels available and not just chrome cast."
