"Na een hartelijk welkom van de gastheer genoten we van het heerlijk knusse huis met open haard, grote tuin en prachtig uitzicht. In de omgeving is veel te zien en te beleven: van kastelen en kerken tot bergtoppen met schapen zover je kan kijken."

"Well this booking was made on the whole purpose of having a relaxing weekend after running 350km for charity over the past few months. So we booked here for the hot tub and the relevant ease of running a Park Run on the Saturday. After running this Park Run we returned back to the accommodation for our day of in and out of the hot tub. Although this turned out to be turned off so we had an ice bath, not advertised on the website. We then were told that we would get a nights refund for this...

"The property was clean & welcoming not just for us but also pets, the hot tub was an added bonus which was also clean & warm. Will definitely be planning another stay & will also recommend to friends & family. "

"Lovely property. The games room was great esp for a group. Really nice big garden and outhouse which was good for the kids. Lovely bedrooms and comfy beds all with ensuite. Just the bottom bed was a bit lumpy. Owner very nice to deal with and very clean. Lovely little high street and play park nearby within 5 minutes. Would definitely recommend a visit to Barnard Castle, Stepping Stones Park and a day trip to Durham."
