"The Hillside was sufficient for our needs. It's a no frills place but one of the more convenient options for our visit to Shenandoah. Noise was a bit of an issue - the beds were creaky, and we were awoken by noisy children and adult conversations next door, so not much in terms of insulation. It was clean though and has some nice outside seating options to enjoy in nicer weather. "
"Rooms were small and out dated, no in room coffee, little space to walk around in and square corners on furniture is tough on calves, bathroom very cramped and fixtures in need of repair, shower products rack mounted on back wall right where your shoulders are making shower have even less space, no computer station for boarding pass printing, breakfast restaurant is fair my eggs Benedict was good."
"The check-in was a bit of a challenge because our keycards would not open the door. We drove back to check in desk and they programmed brand new keys and that did not work so we had to call security to let them open the entrance door to the condos. They could not figure out why the door could not be opened, but our condo door opened and we got in. They promised to fix it but never returned, so we went to bed with the entry door unlocked.
We ended up having to call again the following day to ask them to fix it. Which they came and did.
That second night , we did not get much sleep because a load noise sounded as if was coming from the a boiler room every 20 mins and lasted about 6 seconds would jar us out of our sleep.
We didn’t bother to call because we honestly thing they would take care of it so we just waited to leave the following morning.
The condo itself was clean and spacious and the appliances worked ok, and the staff was ok.
Beautiful property and relaxing atmosphere.
Still not sure if we’ll be returning. "

"We had a wonderful stay at the cabin yesterday! The place was very clean, cozy, and well-maintained. The views were absolutely beautiful and made the experience even more relaxing. Communication with the host was smooth and quick, which made everything easy from check-in to check-out.One thing we especially loved was the jacuzzi—it was amazing, clean, and perfect for relaxing after a long day. The area was also very peaceful and quiet, making it the perfect little getaway. Highly recommend!"
