"We stayed in this Paradore for one night on a half board basis , thoroughly enjoyed it The evening meal was well worth the half board and did not disappoint . Cheese board was very good too. The village location , although very touristy, was full of historic architecture and would be a good base for exploring the wider Cantabria region. Also convenient for driving the short distance to Santander if you are catching the ferry to UK. One tip, park your car in the local car park (7 Eur for 2 days) as parking right by the hotel is difficult due the hotel being in such a historic area ."
