"Well presented quiet room, staff are friendly nice and made me feel at home Bar food was nice. The burger and pint deal is excellent"

"Really disappointed. One night stay for >£150, then told the gym was an extra £12 charge and breakfast an extra £16 (+£5 for standard breakfast items) making it £21 for 2 poached eggs on toast! My room was 2 single beds pushed together both of which had springs coming out the mattress. Bathroom was filthy, 2 members of staff entered my room without knocking. Woman on reception was helpful and the only shining light in this overpriced hotel."

"I really enjoyed the hotel's location. It was close to just about everything in Milton Keynes, especially the shopping centre and the nearby walking areas, which I loved exploring. However, the hotel itself felt a bit dated, particularly the rooms. Given the price and the photos online, I was expecting something a little more modern and updated. Overall, though, it was a decent stay and the excellent location made up for some of the shortcomings."

"The main jacuzzi wasn't working and the upgraded breakfast although better than the previous buffet, arrived lukewarm. When we sent it back that seemed to shift the previous attentive attitude from staff. Plus, the jams on the table weren't checked - 2 had been opened before we sat at the table. Stayed here before and each time it feels a little less charming."

Ramada by Wyndham Oxford

"I was charged an additional £5.00 for parking! That would be fine in a town but this hotel is in a motorway service station so I am not even sure it would be possible to get there by any other method. This means that I would count this as false advertising. Ramada would be better off just advertising the room at £5.00 more. It certainly left a bad taste with me. They do say that parking is charged somewhere but they hide it well! Reception area was nice. Shower was cold and heating rattle-y but I was at the end of a long corridor so other rooms might be fine. Room had been very well cleaned imo and bed linen was good quality and spotless. Local staff seemed good but run-down infrastucture and head-office stuff has put me off."
