"The property itself was nice and overall the stay was decent, but there were several comfort issues. The pools required an additional €25 fee for just 90 minutes each visit, which felt excessive. The steam room and sauna were barely warm, and the room temperature could not be adjusted, making it uncomfortably hot at times. It felt like the property was prioritizing energy savings over guest comfort."

"5 stars is not enough for Conche Luxury Hotel. From the comprehensive information provided prior to arrival, to our welcome from Carla, the amazing, spacious room and wonderful amenities, this property ticks all the boxes. It is superbly located within the Sassi of Matera and it’s easy to access key sites. Carla provided us with a map, highlighting areas of interest. She also recommended numerous restaurants and even booked us in to one when we returned later in the afternoon. Her recommendation was spot on and our dinner was unforgettable. Carla’s customer focus and attention is second to none! The breakfast next morning was outstanding. You could not want for anything but included focaccias, a quiche like slice, fruit, yoghurt, croissants, sliced bread, bruschetta, scrambled eggs, any coffee you desired and cakes. It was AMAZING!! Don’t hesitate, this property has 4 rooms and if you’re coming to Matera, you should definitely stay here. "
