"The location of the beach was amazing. The fact that the hotel wasn’t too busy was awesome. We did not like the elevator, it was old. Breakfast was ok, grab and go. Staff didn’t go out of their way to help with much for example when wanting to rent beach chairs instead of helping me, they just handed me a pamphlet and couldn’t be bothered. Location of beach and restaurants and cleanliness of rooms was very good. Hotel could use some newer updates but affordable and can’t beat that beach."

"Beautiful view of the ocean and very friendly staff. In walking proximity to everything and a short drive to Charlestown. We will definitely be back. 2 negatives- only one elevator was working and it’s slow. Also it’s really loud at night- you can hear the music from the strip but it ends by 11. "

"I almost don’t want to share this hidden gem. Even though this hotel is small, it has everything you need for a great stay at affordable price. Our room was clean and spacious. Our shower broke and they immediately replaced a new shower head. Beautiful courtyard where my husband watched a game while we sat having drinks by the fireplace and listening to a live steel drum singer. The staff was polite and location couldn’t have been better. We will definitely be staying again. The only con is the small size of the pool which felt like bath water. Otherwise, we had a perfect stay at the Ryder Hotel."

"The hotel is in need of some uplifts - the paint is chipped in the rooms, the carpet is shabby, there were some marks on the wall behind the toilet, etc. The breakfast was great - the evening receptions was great, the staff we met were great but the property is a bit off. "
