"The property is situated in a peninsula in Kalutara on a road with almost no traffic, a pleasant surprise in such a busy (and wonderful) city. The beach is lovely, but not swimmable because of strong currents. The room was large and bright. The washroom was clean, and the shower was awesome. It was roomy and had a shower head on the ceiling from which a cascade of water came down. It was great! Hotel Riu Sri Lanka - All Inclusive

"Had a nice stay at the hotel with my wife and daughter, staff are so friendly, room and common spaces are very clean. As for the food & beverages, it can be better, it is below average. The pool with a swim up bar is for adults only, which make it difficult to spend time with your kid while enjoying a drink. Overall, it was a good experience."

"Suite Lanka is such a lovely place. We stayed for 11 days so longer than most and throughout our stay the staff didn’t put a foot wrong. This is what makes this place special. If you want an ultra modern bland hotel then this is definitely Not your place. Our rooms ( pool suite and adjoining room) were comfortable and spacious, with good air con and beautiful bathrooms. Beds were really good quality and comfortable. The pool is not massive but god enough for a cool off and immaculately maintained. We were there in monsoon season so no sea swimming but we managed most breakfasts by the beach which is a great area. Breakfasts had great variety and plenty of food, fruit , pancakes, Sri Lankan porridge recommended. Overall a great stay with amazing staff."

"This property sits right along the shore of a beautiful, clean, white sandy beach with warm water and soft lapping waves. The property itself is currently going through some needed upgrades, but, everything was beautiful and pretty well-maintained. The units that have a patio with access to the pool were wonderful. The buffet breakfast every morning was delicious and there were lots of things to choose from. We really enjoyed the staff. They seem to care a lot about our happiness and were very helpful."
