Our place was on the river and the gas fireplace made it cozy. It was close enough to walk to downtown when the weather was nicer but a bit far for when it was cold, so we weren't able to walk places at night. We enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool, but they do close promptly at 10. The bathroom floor and the carpet could have used a sweep and a mop but otherwise the place seemed clean. Overall we enjoyed our stay and wouldn't hesitate to return in the future.

Getting in, the poor bit: GPS directs you to Harriman St, which is really the winding drive through the condo complex, and has no street sign. The lock needs a check mark after the code. The ground level entryway looks discouraging, but we have stayed in a fine VRBO with the same entry, so no worries there. The Good bit: the rental agent answered my call right away and was very peasant and helpful. The room, the bad bits:What really creeped me out was the filthy screen on the sliding glass door. It was so dusty it obscured the view of the river and I cringed to open it. So I brushed it off with the broom. Big mistake - unbelievable amount of dust. The mattress is saggy and the pillows are lumpy. I suspected the bed covering was a dust trap. In any case, my two-night stay resulted in three days of sinus headache. Then there were the two TVs, one taking up space on a stand in front of the other. The Good bits: The balcony and river are the reason to rent this VRBO. The small balcony has two comfortable metal patio chairs and a small table. It is right next to the river, a beautiful stretch of small rapids. It was very relaxing to sit out there with our wine, and watch and listen to the river. The Adequate bits:Everthing else is adequate, but nothing extra, no nice touches. The kitchen has plenty tableware, cookware, coffee pot, stove, full refrigerator, microwave, toaster. The towel left smears on the glasses though when we tried to dry them.
The location is perfect for walks along the river, easy access to mountain bike rides, and close to town.

We had no sheets for the hide a bed for the first night. Was told we wouldn't get any until the next day because it was after hours. They were "very sorry for the inconvenience." We rented the property because we need two beds. I was promised a call from management to discuss a discount, but never received one.
The pictures on the website are not actually where the room is. This is an apartment complex with long term residence and nightly rentals. We were not on the water front as the pictures show. The pool and hot tub were run down and dirty.

The location was excellent! The condo was very dated. The couch is very worn out, lighting was poor especially with one light bulb burnt out and another missing in a single fixture. The bathroom was missing a towel rack w/ screws sticking out in the wall. One of the wooden chair seat kept falling off.
