Okay for a one night stay

My husband and I only stayed one night during our road trip to Alaska. At first, we were a bit confused and worried because we had reserved an Econo Lodge but the address took us to Morning Glory. Turns out they changed management. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly. Parking was not an issue. The room was large, relatively clean but there was a cigarette smell even though the room was non-smoking. The motel is located just off I-5 but we were not bothered by the traffic noise. No, we were bothered by the noise of the fridge !!! Impossible to shut off. Thank goodness for ear plugs which we always carry with us. Breakfast which is included was very basic and not all that good even though the receptionist told us that breakfast had been improved since the change. Would it be possible to at least put a sign to try to educate people about the plastic waste (cups, spoons, bowls...) ?

A great place to stay!

Love the new owner. She has great customer service skills and a Sound business mind I welcome her to the local area and suggest anybody visit her hotel as it is clean, professional, friendly and a great place to stay. I am a real customer and a completely independent opinion.

It is close to shopping, affordable, easy access to the hiway. Staff had no of Closed Captioning on the TV. Customer service leaves a lot to be desired. Mattress needed replaced, carpets too.

Clean, older, basic budget room. Safe and clean, allows large dogs (must call to specify as not all rooms are pet friendly and this cannot be determined thru the website). Great value, would stay again.

Requested handicap room when I booked online. When I arrived they told me that all the handicap rooms were booked. They put me on the second floor, which was difficult for me, since I'm disabled. I noticed throughout the night and the next morning, that they had roughly 10 handicap rooms and I saw that only 3 of them were occupied the night that I was there. The cleaning staff apologized, but the front desk staff didn't really care and told me that was the best room that they had. I will never book a room at this econolodge again!

Okay motel. Right next to I-5 made for a noisy stay. Hate the pillows, bring your own. Desk clerk sent us to a dirty room on check-in, but fixed promptly.

I liked the central location to highways. It was very clean and beds were comfortable. We had 5 in room, but only enough towels for 3 people. It said toiletries provided but we had just 1 tiny shampoo for 5 ppl. Coffee only accommodated 2 ppl, no tea. Microwave and fridge were useful. Cups were stylofoam so small and made coffee tast unpleasant.

Location, location, location

Great no frills stay in Bellingham. Close to mall and restaurants, short Uber ride to downtown. Room was clean and spacious, continental breakfast was great, only downside was the AC/heating unit in the room was quite loud. We’ll be back.

Clean room!!

The hotel is located near I5 and busy Meridian, easily access to anything in Bellingham. The room was very clean, the WiFi connects easily and we had no trouble staying connected. Breakfast is substantial, even a pancake maker. The only downside is the age of the building. Repairs and upgrades would be beneficial. All in all, it was a good experience and great value.

Great stay!

We just needed a place to sleep for 1 night, so we opted not to spend too much. We were extremely happy and surprised at the quality of this hotel and the room for the price!! Very comfortable bed with white linens. Clean towels. Modern room. Good working heater/AC. Definitely recommend!

Weekday Stay

A slightly older hotel from the outside which makes you wonder about the room pictures. Updated inside and quite comfortable. Friendly service. Some freeway noise, I guess it would depend on which room you’re given. Would stay again.
