"The property description is misleading. It listed 1.5 bathrooms, but there is only one. I was unaware of this until I arrived at the property. Keep in mind that I had been communicating with the property manager, for over 4 months. To start, I was not informed that you had to trek up these old, steep, metal stairs to enter the rented area. Or, you could walk up the frontstairs, but the entrance is narrow and its a lot of stairs. My mother came with me, as my daughter was graduating from college....

"This is a gorgeous victorian home, in a neighborhood full of gorgeous victorian homes. The maids quarters, with a separate entrance, are large enough to live in. Breakfast choices are amazing, and you have a full kitchen to work with for other meals. Bellefonte is a lovely town nestled in the PA hills, with several large creeks draining into a large stream that runs through the center of town. "My son had soccer camp at Penn State and this worked out perfect! Close enough to campus yet in a very tranquil and relaxing spot for the whole family to enjoy. The host was amazing and the cottage was super clean. "

"Overall, this was a fantastic rental for us. Very nice home right across the street from a beautiful creek. The home was very clean and had most everything we could have wanted. The only real negatives were fairly minor. One of the bathroom faucets didn't work, and the main stairs to the front door didn't have a railing. All in all, though, it was a great rental, and we would definitely stay here again."
