Golf and room package

Golf outing. Hotel is connected with an excellent golf course. Rooms and facilities are somewhat dated but are in the process of being renovated. The bed was exceptionally comfortable. The staff was very friendly.

When we checked in the room we were given already had someone else's stuff in it. When I told the girl who checked us in, she seemed shocked and surprised and unsure what to do. She at first wanted us to wait while she cleaned the room, however I was not comfortable with that, due to the fact that someone else may have a key to the room. She then talked with another employee who seemed not to care. Another employee came in and she told him what was going on and he was shocked and offered us another room. The 2nd room we were given was ok, however, the bathroom door did not latch when shut.

I was surprised at how outdated and gloomy this property was. This reminded me of a cheap roadside motel. I was expecting more with this property being situated on a golf course.

Very Relaxing

I went to relax for a bit before going back to work for the weekend. The food was excellent and the staff was great! I wish I could have stayed a day longer.

Pleasant setting.

Rooms are not insulated against noise from adjoining rooms. On Friday night there were guests including families with young children running around and others talking loudly until past 2:30 AM. Not much sleep for me! Also, the drain pop-up for the bathroom sink did not pop-up when the push rod was moved although that rod was connected to the pop-up mechanism under the sink. I had to use my fingernails to grasp the pop-up to drain the sink after use.

It had friendly staff and they allowed us to have an extra hour after check out. When we arrived and got into the room we noticed that there was hair on the bathroom floor and in the tub. Not enough to detoure us from staying again esp since the staff was so friendly.

Sufficient, but not nice.

Checkin was quick. My key didn’t work, so I had to return to the front desk. They quickly gave me another. The room was large, but not very nicely furnished - reminded me of a college dorm. The sink drained very slowly.

The Expedia profile said there was a pool. There wasn’t. The bathroom sink was very slow draining even after it was reported to the front desk. It didn’t smell good.

Ok place

Was here for a family wedding. Place is quite small and old. Still use a key for room. Bathroom is VERY VERY tight. Cannot easily close bathroom door. No plug in tub. Waterpressure was good tho. Wall AC/Heat didn't work real well. No dresser in room. I think our family group of about 30 were really the only people staying in hotel. Nice little bar, but was bummed closed up at 10pm on a Saturday night so our group had no place to really hang after the wedding. But we made our own party in the breakfast area. Over-all, not the worst hotel I've ever stayed in, but definitely not the finest. Not any other choices in the area tho.
