"The property is clean and staff are helpful. The room was comfortable. The building has an overpowering scent of perfumed cleaning products. A good deal of visible wear and tear, which did not seem to impact function. Bathroom fixtures (toilet, sink vanity) are very low to the ground. Ice machines on only 2 floors (not the one I was on) and no instructions on where to find them or any other building amenity (gym, pool, etc). Would be helpful to supply a notepad and pen, as well as additional coffee pods, since housekeeping does not come in daily. A bit of overkill on the number of text messages sent nmby the property during my stay."

"LIKE - Easy access to I-95, easy and up close handicap parking, DISLIKE - Air conditioner blows directly on the bed with no way to redirect the air flow, no air movement in the bathroom to dispense odors, tub shower curtain was broken on the shower head so water splashes out onto the floor, TV channel selection is barely adequate. LIKE - staff is pleasant and helpful."

"We have stayed at New Haven Hotel numerous times and have always been pleased. They have a great staff who is customer service oriented. Stephanie Lee in particular was very helpful with our stay and upgraded our room because we stay there frequently. Would recommend this hotel to couples and people on business, it’s in a great location to restaurants and bars."

"This property desperately needs some updating, especially in the bathrooms. While it was clean, there’s paint peeling in the tubs. I only stayed for one night and didn’t get there until after 11pm. I had to check in through a window."
