"Excellent stay!! Very nice young ladies checked us in quickly and made sure our room was comfortable for us. Very clean bathroom (after hiking all day we didn’t keep it that way 😞) and amazingly comfortable bed!! We slept like a dream. My husband is ticky and he said it was his favorite stay thus far. Highly recommend!"

"It was how you would consider a historic hotel to be. It was charming, but old. The plumbing didn't drain that well and there was some road noise from traffic on the street, but it was clean, super cute and walkable to everything in the downtown area. There was no hotel parking, but they give you a pass for street parking and we never had an issue finding parking close by. Would definitely stay there again if we were in the Arcata area."

"Room was quite comfortable, useful furniture (desk and lamp, good tv with remote, comfortable king bed. Generally looked very well-maintained, with none of the cracks and flaws I've often seen elsewhere. Staff was very professional and helpful. For example, I needed to leave at 4 a.m. to catch a plane and the night person took me over right on time. It is very convenient to the Arcata/Eureka airport (a 5 minute drive, 15 minute walk - though a staff member warned me about walking at night - "animals!" Convenient to Rte 101."
