"The room was clean and funky in terms of decoration which we liked. We hadn't realised that it was not a bathroom ensuit but shared one with three other rooms, but this was also very clean and luckily we were the only occupied room for the night we spent there. The staff were friendly and as we had to leave early the next morning kindly laid on a breakfast bap for us at 7am. An excellent setting next to the river and ideally suited for a short trip into Bath."

"Good location. Excellent breakfast. There's no parking at the hotel. Also, no discount on city parking. The receptionist recommended Southgate parking, which is a bit far. The room is compact and newly renovated. It was extremely hot outside during our trip. The built-in air conditioning in the room worked perfectly. I recommend it."

The Old Mill Hotel

"Quirky old building, so, some steep staircases. Unfortunately we arrived whilst they were doing some renovations, so, not everything was available. But the continental breakfast was good the next morning. The rooms were ok, we were lucky to get a river view (for free, if booked in advance that costs extra) quite a small twin room, en suite bathroom. Sadly no air con, we did have a small fan and left the patio doors open overnight. The bathroom was ok, the duty manager said they are all being refurbished over winter. Shower was average, not much pressure and took a couple of minutes ti figure out. They only had one small towel rail, so, I suggested to the manager about perhaps a couple of hooks on the back of the bathroom door. Then he says they are replacing over winter, so they won't add hooks yet. In the room there were tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge, a desk, a small wardrobe with a safe inside and even an iron and ironing board. Sockets by the desk had USB sockets too. Overall nice. I think once the refurbishment is completed it will be cracking. There's also a bar with outdoor seating, as well as outdoor seating by the river. The hotel is next to a toll bridge which does cause queuing. £1.20 to cross over in a car. Parking is limited, first come first served. £10 for the whole stay, which is good value. I'd say there are perhaps15 spaces. You pay when you check out. The staff were nice. Ellie the duty manager was particularly lovely."

"The hotel is conveniently located close to the centre of Bath and within easy walking distance of the main attractions. We stayed in a double room, which was a good size, and the bed was very comfortable. The room was supplied with clean towels, and the shower was spacious and worked well. Unfortunately, there were a few drawbacks. We had breakfast during our stay, but much of the food was overcooked. The toilet also had visible mould around the rim where the water flows, which was disappointing from a cleanliness perspective. Overall, the hotel was pleasant enough, but it felt somewhat overpriced for what was offered. In particular, the £22 parking charge seemed excessive and added significantly to the overall cost of the stay."

"we had booked a townhouse Suite for 5 adults consisting of 3 bedrooms. I had personally called up reservations to confirm availability and thereafter booked through Expedia within 5 minutes of my call. Full amount was paid at time of booking. we were however down graded to two individual rooms citing technical error in booking and amount adjusted . very unprofessional."
