"The room was great! It was comfortable and so clean. It was just across the road from the ocean and great walking/running paths. Eateries were within walking distance, and you could easily walk to the CBD. Once you worked out how to use the lock, it was super convenient and you didn't have to worry about locking yourself out or losing keys.
Through no fault of their own, the check-in process for me was difficult, and without a front desk at the motel, I was worried I wouldn't be able to access my room. However, the manager did manage to contact me and was super lovely and helpful and it was easy from then on in.
There wasn't a lot of places (like shelves) to put stuff on in the bathroom, but plenty in the main room. There was also no mirror, but luckily I don't wear make up, so all good!
Next time I'm in Bateman's Bay, I will definitely stay at The Bay again! Highly recommend."
