Excellent place to stay for complete R&R fully self contained, clean & comfortable. Outside area is a great place for breakfast listening to the orchestra of birds. Extremely good host close by if needed & not sighted if not needed.
Wish it wasn’t such a quick stay didn’t get to appreciate it as much as we would have liked as we had a wedding in the area and then had to get home Very pretty setting and very clean would definitely recommend
The cottage was tucked away in Basalt with a lot of privacy. Great chance for my husband and I to relax and unwind. The cottage was very clean, quiet and comfortable would highly recommend a night away at Cappanone.
The property was at a wonderful location, with amazing scenery and peaceful vibes. The house itself was well kept, the bedroom had an amazing view of the stars at night. Jan the host was lovely and so accomodating. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay.
I really had a terrific time at this property in Daylesford. It was a beautiful location and the property itself was absolutely perfect in every way. I couldn't recommend they place more highly. It is ideal for a single person like myself, a couple, or a small group. I will most definitely be returning.
Well maintained modern cabin, excellent kitchen facilities, very private with no neighbors in sight. Lots of Kangaroos and Wallabies, best to take it easy on the road.
Absolutely wonderful little getaway!
Tranquil, quiet and away from the hustle and bustle, but not too far!
Spotlessly clean.
Comfy bed.
Spacious and private.
Beautifully presented stand alone cottage, in a lovely quiet location a short drive from Daylesford. Very tranquil setting with a view into the forest and with lovely bird calls. The unit is modern, very clean and well appointed. Jan the host communicated very clearly and promptly. Would definitely visit again.
Property was exactly what we expected with a short 8-10min drive into Daylesford. We where able to get a taxi to a from Daylesford. The house was perfect for a romantic get away, whilst enjoying the piece a quite of a remote stay. Highly recommend!
Thank you for a beautiful place to completely shut down from the busy work weeks, & for us to reconnect with nature. We had little to almost no reception so it was the perfect place to unwind for a weekend. Thank you!
It was very lovely, and cozy. Sunset was truely amazing. Sadly we lost track of time and almost didn't leave on time! Didn't;t leave on time! Then we left a pillow there which we'll donate to the property. Thanks again.

What a beautiful little country getaway, we spent the weekend wandering around the Daylesford area then came back to the cute Capannoni villa.
We felt totally relaxed and comfortable, all amenities thought of and supplied, lovely comfortable bed and get views. Kangaroos with their joeys hopping around the yard in the morning and we walked over to talk to Jarrah, he even came up the fence to say hi!
Loved it
I loved the property, and layout of the house was surprisingly modern and functional, just missing a laundry room and internet connection to make it perfect, hence the 4 stars.
In saying that, I wouldn’t have minded having no internet, but, also had no phone service which it’s not ideal if we had to deal with an emergency.
Every thing else was great!
