This hotel is a remodeled farm house. They did an excellent job. The rooms are simple but very functional. Great beds, outstanding shower and hot water and after a long day sightseeing, we didn't have to look for a restaurant. They have an excellent menu choice with every day new suggestions. It's a 10 min drive to Avignon we choose this because of the quiet location and the restaurant . It was easy to discover the Provence from here. This is one of the most wonderful and comfortable places I have ever stayed. The property is beautiful, the rooms are very large (even by US standards), the breakfast was fantastic, but the people were beyond all expectations. Henri, Veldi, Dominique, and Norwin (the folks who manage and run the place) are the most wonderful, welcoming, friendly and kind people you will meet as a traveler. Truly an exceptional visit. There are no downsides. Just fantastic.

Hotel 1770 & Spa served as our home base during the week we spent visiting Avignon, L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue, Pont du Gard, Arles, and Nimes. We had a lovely stay at this charming little B&B in Avignon, run by a very kind and warm-hearted couple. Neither of the owners spoke fluent English, but we were able to communicate perfectly well using a translation app. I also did my best to practice my elementary French, which made the experience feel even more personal and memorable. Rooms: Clean, spacious and quaint with a lot of character. Junior suite was spacious with a sitting area, an outdoor patio, and a huge bathroom. This hotel was the highlight of our Provence trip. The owner and the staff couldn’t have been more attentive. They are generous on their servings. Right in the center of the action during the festival! We loved the location! Many amenities to enjoy- the breakfast was particularly convenient for early mornings.

This was my second stay here. Very quietly located in the town close to good restaurants, bars and sights. Walking distance to train station. Room very comfortable and cosy. Breakfast buffet very good with a good choice of food and hot coffee. I enjoyed my week here very much.

A well-run small hotel located very near the Avignon historic landmarks. The operator is very dedicated to his business and provides bed and breakfast style personal attention and local advice. He is very English-speaker friendly.

Great hotel. Good staff. Well maintained. Spa is great even if you don’t get a treatment. Good and drinks are the best in town.
