"Never received the check in details 24 hours before so couldn’t risk taking the family and I had to do a 5 hour round trip to go get them, we didn’t have any hot water for the first 24 hours. The mattress in the main bedroom was the most uncomfortable bed we have ever slept on and after the first night slept in the lounge, also there isn’t a table so they provide 4/5 small tables to eat off but 1 of these had 2 missing legs and another’s legs were about to fall off. This might be ok for a couple...

"We were met by the owners, who are a lovely welcoming couple, and it was helpful to have the workings of the Lodge explained.The lodge was beautifully presented and spacious, the twin bedrooms in particular bigger than those in other lodges we have stayed in. The kitchen area well equipped and well planned. The situation of the lodge was perfect for us, beautifully quiet whilst still have good access to the facilities. There is a lot to do in the area and the Lakes are only a short drive...
