"It's a student halls of residence. If that's what you're expecting I would imagine you'd be very happy with the room. If you're expecting a hotel, it's not a hotel. It was exactly as I was expecting. Comfortable, no frills, perfectly fine for a one night stay for me. Wifi was great. A little bit of noise at times, it's student accommodation, but not too noisy by a long way. I recently stayed at the IBIS in Bristol and that was far noisier. Would happily book again for a short stay."

There is a lot of space, and the beds are very comfortable, although it is quite hot and there was only one fan. However, all of that was overshadowed by the fact that one bedroom was crawling with bedbugs. "Having stayed in Bath three weeks earlier, I was disappointed at the cleanliness of our property and how small the bedroom was. The breakfast, however, was excellent. We, therefore, decided to try the Hilton. My son had stayed at the Double Tree three weeks prior and was very pleased. We went for the Hampton as it was closer to the station. On arrival, the reception team were first class. The room (424) was excellent. It was roomy and spotless. We enjoyed the rugby between Bath and Exeter. The breakfast on Sunday morning was lovely. So much choice and all good quality produce. We will not hesitate to return."
