4/5 - Good
We knew that Barneveld was devastated by a tornado in 1984 & we thought there’d be a museum. There was not, but was told that the library had many articles /stories about that terrible event.

Overall okay stay. Large stain on comforter. Food on the remote. Few options for breakfast. Otherwise everything else is "okay"

The toilet didn't flush, so my husband had to fix it. Didn't call maintenance, because it took him like 5 minutes. Our remote to the tv worked intermittently & breakfast was mediocre. Hoping my stay at the Baymont in Minneapolis in a few weeks is a much better experience!

Steve was such a gracious host! He showed us around upon arrival and even allowed us to stay a little after checkout since we arrived a little later than we had originally planned. Everything about the house was perfect. It was the perfect blend of a cozy cabin in the woods with all the amenities ...

You can enjoy a tasting or tour at Botham Vineyards during your travels to Barneveld. While in this relaxing area, you can enjoy the coffeehouses.

Visit blue mounds.
It would be nice if there were more food options in town.
Friendly small town
Didn't visit anything other than hotel and Cave of the Mounds.
We drove to Mt. Horeb and ate at the Grumpy Troll. Great area. Lot's of fun. My 6 year old grandson is still talking about the Cave of the Mounds. Great trip.
