"First ferry transfer was 2 hours after they said they would be there. Second ferry transfer was 1 hour after they said they would leave. Can't trust them to make reliable plans. Pools were so dirty you could use them. Pubes in the bathroom on arrival. Food was not good and expensive. Staff were friendly. Mini jet skis, $500 pesos for half an hour were fun. Kayaks at $300 pesos an hour were not worth it. Clean air though."

"The hotel is a little outside of the main street of Coron but has a pool which is nice. Staff were very friendly and helpful - a really asset to the hotel. However the room I was put in was a little tired, with signs of a water leak in the corner and despite asking for my room to be cleaned on two different days it wasn’t. Also they make you sign a waiver that they won’t be responsible for your belongings but don’t provide any kind of safe in the room (only at reception) which is unideal."

"The room was nice, though I didn't care for the location. But that's just a preference thing. The food in the restaurant was generally good, though not great. Overall the staff was decent. I stayed here 2.5 years ago and loved it. This time was good, though not necessarily special. I would probably return again."

"Incredible stay at BacuaBay, we stayed in the presidential suite with a family of 5 (2 adults 3 teenagers) and it was immaculate, very roomy, to spread out and very comfortable. Clean great bathrooms and pool is awesome and huge! The gardens are beautiful with jetty and a bar on the jetty, we loved our stay here. Staff could not be more helpful and friendl."
