""A humble budget hotel" describes it more honestly than the hotel describes itself online. It isn't a "heritage" hotel, that's just the parent company name. The room was clean enough and the shower was good. Only two pillows for a kingsize bed. The Wi-Fi was non-existent and un-secured. The restaurant is small, dark, and windowless. The food is okay. They say they have a 24 hr. airport shuttle but two online booking requests went unanswered. Good location for bazaars, City Palace. The staff were pleasant."

"Good for a business stay"

"Short review: I booked in for one night and stayed for six. Longer review: The location is fabulous if you want be in the heart of the city. Yes, it can be a touch noisy during the day but don’t let that put you off. The room was perfectly fine for my needs (safe, secure, comfortable bed, clean sheets and a really good shower). The rooftop restaurant is the star of the show; having a meal or just something to drink up there is a great experience. The food is excellent*. There is a bar and this is a mixed blessing. On the plus side, drinks here are much cheaper than on the roof (possibly because they don’t attract the same level of Govt taxes as drinks sold in a restaurant?). On the downside, it’s dark (windowless) and is effectively a men-only place (women are allowed in, of course, but I doubt few would feel comfortable in there). If there is one thing that can better the rooftop it’s the staff. Everyone is really friendly, and the standards of service are far higher than I was probably expecting from a place at this level of budget. In summary, I heartily recommend this hotel to anyone. It’s very good value for money. *the toast is overpriced though!"

"The hotel was fantastic! The staff was incredibly attentive, friendly, and accommodating—it truly might have been the best service I’ve ever received. The food was great, both at breakfast and dinner. The interiors were gorgeous and the bathroom was modern. I don’t see myself stay anywhere else in Jaipur ever again!"

"The hotel and all the staff were absolutely wonderful!! Tony the Manager met us and gave us cool drinks and cool water. All the lads/men who work there were warm, friendly, fun and helpful everyday ensuring we had plenty of water as it was getting hot. The lads in the restaurant were also wonderful. Sultan, especially is a great kind helpful man. Please stay there!!"
