"It was a treat to stay at The Talbot Hotel in Cork again. I arrived at 11 pm straight from the airport and was given a room in a quiet area of the hotel. The room was beautifully presented and I slept well. The decor is lovely and I would certainly book again to enjoy a longer stay."

"If you are looking for old world charm, this is your place! It is spacious is the common living areas.However, the closet and dresser storage is minimal. We came for a week and lived out of our suitcase.no vanity.The other bedroom is a bit morespaciou because the bed is smaller. There is an armoire there that was packed with pillows, blankets and linens. We had to moves all that on the floor to use the shelves for vlothes.The master bedroom off the kitchen has a very large bed with a wardrobe closet but no drawers to put clothes not needing to be hung up. The bathroom.is super tiny with"

"The staff - very warm welcome from all The elevator was good, the room was comfortable, the bed was a king and comfortable. Breakfast was very good as was dinner. It is a spacious building with a lot of light and lots of parking. We had some issues in our bathroom, hence the lower rating re maintenance."

"Cool place to stay in the middle of Macroom and great for adventures in rural Ireland. Kind of difficult to find but excellent communication with operating staff to figure out where to be and how to access property. No parking on site and has a hill to parking area that is city parking so can be full if school or soccer fields are busy. My mom had difficulty getting to and from parking. It also has 3 stories and bathroom only on second and third floor so that was also inconvenient for elderly. But overall a lovely “cozy” place that feels like authentic Ireland experience. Would stay here again even with mom we just had to navigate some things."
