Description: Located in the beautiful development of Echota on the Ridge, this two-bedroom, two-bathroom downstairs (stair access only) condo is perfect for your next vacation. This condo is fully furnished with everything you would need for a long retreat or a short weekend getaway. The kitchen is well equipped to prepare meals and the living room is inviting with a gas log fireplace and amazing mountain views. Curl up, get cozy and read a book, watch TV or take a nap…. the choice is yours! Guests of this unit have access to the deck from the living room or primary bedroom where they can breathe in fresh mountain air while gazing at the mountains and listening to the sounds of nature. Enjoy a short mountain getaway to relax or an extended stay and explore all the High Country has to offer. 

Resorts' Amenities: Amenities in these gated resorts include indoor and outdoor(seasonal May 1 - Oct. 1) swimming pools with hot tubs, two private clubhouses, fitness rooms, stocked fishing ponds, a 23-acre riverfront park, community hiking trails and catch and release fishing.

Location: This Resort is centrally located to Boone, Banner Elk, Valle Crucis and Blowing Rock in the Foscoe area. The convenient location makes it just minutes away from all the High Country’s most famous attractions such as the Blue Ridge Parkway, Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain, Linville Falls and Caverns, and Appalachian State University.  If you are looking for winter sports there are several different options from Hawksnest Snow Tubing, Sugar Mountain Ski Resort, Beech Mountain Ski Resort, and Appalachian Ski Resort. Relax and enjoy the slow pace of the mountains and the fresh air or be adventurous and go hiking, fishing, biking, or sight-seeing. Some other things people enjoy are shopping, antiquing, skiing, golfing and miniature golfing, ziplining, go-karts, and gem mining.

The rental company was great. Help was immediate. We expected much more for the price of rental. Beds were horrible . Furniture in general was horrible . It absolutely does not sleep six. There was nothing good about our experience except the help we received from rental company . I have never written a bad review before. These owners definitely need to upgrade

This property was exactly as advertised. It was clean and the view was absolutely gorgeous. We loved the location, which gave us quick access to Boone and Blowing Rock, as well as many hiking options. Our only complaint is that the internet connection did not work. It was fixed by staff on Saturday morning, but went out again and was out for our whole stay.

Great views

Had a great time and the amenities were fantastic. Only issue would be that the unit is showing signs of wear and tear, could use some refreshing. Rocking chairs or swing would be nice for the porch.

Echota on the Ridge

We had a lovely stay in this unit. The sunsets were spectacular!! Condo was very comfortable. Shower in Master Bedroom needs a larger shower head… not much pressure coming from this one. Not much room to lounge on the tiny couch but all in all the unit was very nice. Kitchen was very nice

Great views and great location! Super clean and nicely decorated.

Loved this rental. Only issues we had were with the WiFi not working (tried to reset a few times but connections worked extremely slow) and not enough couch seating for 4 adults. Will definitely go back!

Breathtaking views at a great community

My family enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our unit was as expected and had a beautiful view! We had plenty of room in our unit (5 of us) and had access to everything we needed. Our only criticism would be that we wish the futon would've been a little bigger so that more of us could sit in it. But since it was just our teenager that slept on it, it worked. These property was beautiful and we all enjoyed the outdoor pool looking at the mountains. Overall, we had a fantastic visit and would come again!

Gorgeous view! There are no spices , extra bags for in home trash, or utensils to enable us to make a dinner. You must bring or purchase everything, including tissues, extra toilet paper, sponges , etc. Dishes and frying pan was put away dirty (looked like dried eggs. ) We loved the place but would try another at Echota property where we could even add to staples!

Will come again!

We had a great stay! The condo was nice and clean and exceeded our expectations. The pool is really nice - our kids loved it. Thank you for helping make our vacation a success. To share two minor suggestions: -If there's an option to pay a few dollars to avoid the requirement to haul all the trash from the unit to the dumpster during checkout, that would be amazing. I can't think of a worse time to haul garbage inside your car than when departing a vacation rental. -Storing clean bath towels directly under the sink is unappealing. Not that the cabinet was conspicuously dirty, but undersink plumbing occasionally leaks and it's literally impossible to clean all of the drain and p-trap parts under there.

Perfect mountain getaway

Our family of 5 loved staying at your beautiful condo. We cooked every meal in, with every pot, pan, and dish we could possibly need available to us. We loved the cozy family room, having the ability to wash and dry ski clothes and the beautiful view off the deck. We used both clubhouse locations for the pool tables and indoor pool. My children loved walking to the closer one to our unit. The surrounding units were quiet, parking was fantastic and the gated community made us all feel safe and secure. Thank you for sharing your home, we definitely plan on booking again.

Great location, clean, easy rental process

Just stayed with our family of 6-2adults, 4kids. Was a great, relaxing stay that we would definitely do again. Having a washer/dryer was a heaven send. House was immaculately clean. The cons-master bed and living room couch/bed not very comfortable. In the evenings there wasn’t enough seating for the whole family to relax without at least 2 having to lay on the floor. And if you stay here be sure to bring even your own salt and pepper. While the kitchen is stacked to the NINES with appliances and dishes-that’s it. Overall loved it and would do again.

Great location

The community and this unit in particular offer wonderful views of the surrounding valleys and mountains. The nearby towns have lot of charm and wonderful restaurants and breweries. Had a great time. The only downfall of this unit was the living room couch was uncomfortable, and of very low quality. Luckily we didn't spend much time sitting around!
