Upscale Modern Cabin in Private Setting

Welcome to Owl Ridge Retreat! An expansive, upscale log home between Boone and Banner Elk, close to Valle Crucis with four large bedrooms and two full bathrooms. All on one level, with wide thresholds and hallways, this is a home for anyone with mobility difficulties. It is only a few steps up to the front porch from the paved, level parking area to the level front entrance.
The kitchen and dining areas are adjacent to each other, with seating for for a full house. The kitchen is fully outfitted. A dramatic floor-to-ceiling stacked stone fireplace, centered between the kitchen and dining area and the great room, is open on both sides to be enjoyed from any of the spaces. The great room boasts leather furniture, wood floors, vaulted ceilings, a mounted TV, and a wall of windows revealing seasonal mountain views. Walk from the great room to the open-air rear deck, stretching from one end of the house to the other, to find the hot tub, outdoor lounge, and dining area. Enjoy wooded and seasonal winter mountain views, the rolling backyard, and the fire pit. Mature hardwoods surround Owl Ridge Retreat, giving it peace and privacy.

On one side of the house is the master suite, featuring a large bedroom with cathedral ceilings, a king bed, a leather reclining chair, and a TV. The master suite has a massive closet with a hidden office or nursery. There are two rollaway twin beds stored in the closet providing flexible sleeping options for children and parents. The master suite also has an ensuite Jack-and-Jill bathroom with a jetted soaking tub, slate tile shower, and double his and her vanity. Sharing the Jack-and-Jill bathroom on the other side is a bunk room with two twin-over-twin bunk beds, adding more convenience to parents with kids. On the opposing side of the house are two more large bedrooms, each with queen beds, cathedral ceilings, and TVs. These two bedrooms are close to a second full bathroom with a large custom shower. The laundry room on this side of the house has a washer, dryer, and exterior access to provide a mudroom entrance.
For large groups, the neighboring cabin - Honey Bear Cabin - is also available to book. It is within walking distance.
