The Reserve at Sugar Mountain is the best and most scenic mountain resort in western North Carolina. Astonishing mountain views greet you right from the front door of this deluxe 2 bedroom, 2 bath condominium. This unobstructed vista is complimented by a stacked stone gas-log fireplace, gourmet kitchen, and walls adorned with tasteful fine art. Soak in the luxury from the comfort of the new leather couch and loveseats, or literally, in the large tub of the spacious master bath. The gorgeous dining area will beckon irresistibly to all guests, but don't forget to enjoy a breathtaking sunset from the 300 square foot deck before retiring to the master and guest bedrooms, which feature king and queen size beds respectively.

What's nearby:
Sugar Mountain Resort is just moments away from this condo, where you'll find an outdoor skating rink, snow tubing, mountain bike tours and a full golf course. There are plenty of restaurants close by, including Reid's Cafe and Elevations Restaurant. Sightseeing is plentiful in this area as well, such as the Foggy Mountain Gem Mine, Mile High Swinging Bridge and Grandfather State Park.

Property and location was just what we were looking for. Not as clean as we had hoped upon arrival. Empty wine bottle and eggs left in the refrigerator, dish washer was not emptied.

Great property!

The pictures don’t do it justice. This was one of the best properties that we have stayed at so far. The view was amazing and the surrounding towns were great! I highly recommend it! If I had to say one negative thing, it would be that the trash receptacles are not convenient. We had to drive to throw out the trash when we left the property. Not that big of a deal, but a little inconvenience on an otherwise perfect stay.

Nice mountain condo

Very nice condo that had everything we needed for our family trip to the mountains. Plenty of space for our family of 4. Lots of twists and turns on the road to the condo, but we had no problem getting to or finding the condo. The condo is a 10 minute drive from the Sugar Mountain ski area with no traffic. Be aware, parking is severely limited at the ski area; if you don’t get there early, you may not be able to park.

Ski Trip

We take an annual ski trip to sugar mountain. We found your listing and it was perfect! Our only wish was an 11:00 check out time. We went night skiing, so we came in late. We wished we could have enjoyed the place a bit longer yesterday morning. Very cozy and clean, loved the view!

The location, view, and furnishings were beautiful! However, there was a separate shower, but the light was burned out. They left instructions to clean up the trash, but no trash bags. When I requested a late check-out, it would cost $22 more. You can't use the fireplace past April ( it is May 24th)but, temp tonight will be in the 40's. I called about the lightbulb and trash bags, but no one ever came to take care of those things. They could have at least offered the late check-out ( it was our 37th anniversary). Not very good customer service. .

Nice view and spacious

We stayed for the weekend on a visit to Sugar Mountain resort. The condo was clean and quiet with beautiful views and easy access to the ski slopes - about a 3 mile drive. The two bedrooms and two baths were perfect for our family of four. It had all of the basics for cooking in, including necessary pots and pans, oil, salt, pepper, sugar, as well as necessary cleaning supplies, as well as mini-soaps and shampoos and blowdryer. All was exactly as expected.

Amazing views

Loved everything about this property. Views were awesome, condo is clean and well stocked. The only thing (and only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars) was when I asked to checkout an hour or 2 later they couldn’t accommodate. My wife and I were there on our 20th wedding anniversary and wanted to take our time checking out. They did offer for me to check in 3hrs early but didn’t tell me until 1pm and plans to arrive were already made for 4p. When I asked about a late checkout instead I was told offers to checkout late for a fee are auto-generated 24-48hrs prior to check in via text. But an offer to check in early only 2-3 hrs before check in was useless given my plans. Communication with rental property was promp.

Location is great. Condo was as described. Had an issue with an unlit pilot light in the fireplace that was remedied quickly and courteously. Would rent again!

Very nice place, beautiful views,very comfortable and nicely decorated.

I have no complaints only several suggestions. Needed more towels, more light in smaller front bedroom, soap in bathrooms, very clean except the curio shelves at end of kitchen bar and next to the fridge, A good dusting needed, and tissues would be helpful. Please give our thanks to the owners for sharing their property with us.
