About this property

Beech Basecamp | Fire Pit, Games + Views

  • Summary:

Make Beech Mountain your basecamp at this modern 3BR/3BA mountain home built for family trips and group getaways. Take in long-range mountain views, gather around the fire pit, challenge the crew in the game room, or settle in for a cozy night after a day on the mountain. With space for up to 10 and easy access to Beech Mountain Resort, hiking, dining and year-round adventures, you’ll have plenty to do—and a pretty great place to come home to.

    The Space:

Welcome to your Beech Mountain basecamp—a modern mountain home with plenty of room to spread out, reconnect and make the most of your time in the High Country.

The main living area is bright and comfortable, with large windows bringing in the mountain scenery and an open layout that keeps everyone connected. Settle in for a movie night, gather around for drinks and conversation, or head to the fully equipped kitchen to cook up breakfast before a day of exploring.

With 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms and sleeping space for up to 10 guests, the home works especially well for families, couples traveling together and groups of friends. Multiple levels give everyone room to gather when they want to—and a little breathing room when they don’t.

The game room gives the crew another place to hang out, especially on rainy days or evenings in. Outside, take in the mountain air and long-range views, then gather around the fire pit as the sun goes down.

When you’re ready to venture out, Beech Mountain Resort, hiking, restaurants and year-round mountain adventures are all within easy reach.

Whether your plans involve skiing, hiking, exploring the High Country or doing absolutely nothing productive for a few days, this is an easy place to make home base.

    Guest Access:

Guests have full access to the property with exception of owner/cleaner supply closets.

    The Neighborhood:

Set in the heart of Beech Mountain, the home puts you close to the best of the High Country while still giving you that tucked-away mountain feel.

Beech Mountain Resort is just a short drive away for skiing, snowboarding, mountain biking and year-round events. You’ll also be close to local restaurants, hiking trails, scenic overlooks and the shops and attractions around Beech Mountain and nearby Banner Elk.

Wildlife is part of the neighborhood here, so don’t be surprised to spot deer wandering through during your stay. In warmer months, spend your days hiking, biking and exploring; when winter arrives, you’re perfectly positioned for days on the slopes.

Banner Elk, Sugar Mountain and other High Country favorites are also within easy driving distance, making this a great home base for exploring beyond Beech.

    Getting Around:

Winter Weather & Mountain Travel Notice

During the winter months, weather conditions in Banner Elk, Beech Mountain, and Sugar Mountain can be unpredictable. Snow, ice, high winds, and rapidly changing road conditions are common and should be expected when traveling to and from the property.

For your safety and ease of travel, we strongly recommend arriving in a 4-wheel drive or all-wheel drive vehicle during winter months. Snow chains may also be necessary depending on conditions. Guests are responsible for monitoring weather forecasts, road conditions, and state travel advisories prior to departure and during travel.

We strongly recommend planning your arrival for around 4:00 PM while daylight is still available. Mountain roads can become significantly more difficult to navigate after dark, especially during or after winter weather events.

While we make reasonable efforts to clear driveways and walkways, snow removal is not guaranteed, especially during active snowfall or severe weather conditions. Natural snowfall may accumulate faster than it can be safely cleared. Snow shovels are provided for guest use so you can clear additional accumulation to your preference.

Mountain travel may be slower than expected, and road closures or delays can occur without notice. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect your trip investment in case of weather-related travel interruptions.

Please note that winter weather, road conditions, flight cancellations, or travel delays are not valid reasons for refunds, date changes, or cancellations outside of the listing’s stated cancellation policy. By booking this property, you acknowledge the inherent risks of winter mountain travel and accept responsibility for arriving safely and prepared.

    Other Things to Note:

Dogs are welcome with approval, please let us know in advance. This home is perfect for families or small groups, but we do not allow parties or events. Quiet hours are from 10 PM to 7 AM.

Snow is part of the charm in winter, but it also means the mountain weather can be unpredictable. Be prepared with appropriate vehicles if visiting during the snowy season.

Coolbnbs, the property owner, and approved contractors or service providers may access the property during a guest stay when needed for maintenance, repairs, inspections, appraisals, pest treatments, pool or hot tub service, lawn care, or other standard professional appointments related to the care, safety, or operation of the property.

Guests will be notified in advance whenever reasonably possible, except in the case of an emergency or urgent property-related matter. Guest approval is not required for necessary property access, and no refund, credit, discount, or other compensation will be provided due to Coolbnbs, the owner, or approved service providers entering the property during a stay.
