"Beautiful hotel in the heart of Linlithgow. The room was classical with modern touches and a nice modern bathroom/kitchenette. Very easy to walk to the local pubs, grocery stores and a couple minute walk from the gates of Linlithgow Palace. Staff was helpful, parking was easy, room was very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again if I was travelling through Linlithgow."

We would like to have had our dinner in the hotel but the menu was basic in the extreme. Burgers, burgers and more burgers. To be fair the hotel had just changed ownership two days before our stay, so hopefully the evening meals will improve."

It was great to have 2 ensuite bathrooms. Notably, the shower on the second floor of the upstairs unit had issues with consistency of flow and temperature, possibly when others were touching the faucets in other rooms (unconfirmed). "Warmed welcome by our host with a tour of public areas and our room with garden patio. Loved tea/coffee and snacks on offer at any time and delicious home made bread at breakfast. Stunning views from lounge and local path into Stirling meant no driving to dinner."
