"An ordinary hotel in Battambang- very hard uncomfortable bed, room didn’t overlook a pool- shower room had water, we didn’t get any hot water, curtains were ineffective. Interesting lock (padlock) for the room, We ordered some room service- this was ok. Seemed a nice family running the place but it’s more of a guest house feel."

If you continue up the hill from the Killing Caves, you will find the temple that has been built in recent years thanks to donation from Khmer people. "The hotel was cute! The rooms were nice, the landscaping around the hotel was nice. Staff was great as was the breakfast. The owners are around and make the place feel very homey and warm. Adding plug in outlets, especially in the bathroom would be very helpful. Please note that the hotel is a bit secluded, you can't just walk out to the store...but I was looking for peace and quiet and that is exactly what I got. "
