"it’s a nice boutique hotel but the rooms are cozy and not too bad. Also, the hotel is very close to the airport but middle of nowhere. If you have to take a taxi service to Bowmore, which is the town center, for meals, It will cost 40 poundsround-trip. The hotel has a restaurant on site but sort of limited menu if you have any kind of meal restrictions or limitations. It is also close to a beach and has a golf course. The beach is beautiful and such a nice walk from the hotel."

"I stayed here for four nights and absolutely loved it. Fillip, the owner, was incredibly welcoming and genuinely caring, his hospitality made me feel right at home. He’s very knowledgeable about Bowmore village and Islay overall, and always happy to share great local tips. Each morning he personally cooks a delicious hot Scottish breakfast, served between 8 and 9 a.m. at the time you request the night before, such a nice touch. "David is a great host. Very quick to respond. The cottage is very clean. Internet was fast. Beautiful quiet area. Good to arrive to Coffee & tea and biscuits and milk in the fridge, cleaning products and bin bags all the basics. The central heating was on when I arrived late at night so the cottage was cosy and warm. Plenty of hot water. The kitchen and dining area is very light and spacious with great views of countryside. The cottage is next to a working farm so lots of sheep and cows....
