"We stayed at Aonach Cottage in late June and early July of 2026. The cottage is beautiful and surrounded by mountains. The road to the cottage is about 7 minutes long and bumpy, but worth it to be in such a beautiful location. Here are some details about the cottage. In the picture shown, the Aonach cottage rental is the right half of the building. The left half is another cottage. Inside the cottage, there are two bedrooms on the first floor. "Really liked this place, a few minor blips, or would have given 5-star. GREAT location -- had a lodge on the water -- great views of the ocean! Had a hot tube which was enjoyed after long hikes. Restaurant had great food and drink. It was kind of setup as a hotel and then out lodges, which gave it a kind of camp ground feel. Our lodge had a kitchenette in it with a washer-dryer combo -- so if you want to do laundry and pack lighter -- great option. The view here off our deck was awesome...

"What a find! This little hoos on a loch with a hot tub was cosy and perfect as a base for our Glencoe hikes. We had evening and morning hot tubs and loved watching the weather come over. The restaurant next door was excellent and the hosts helpful and friendly. Was hard to leave!"

"Very quiet. Well stocked kitchen. Many unexpected things provided (razors, toothbrushes, shavers, cereal. Very clean. Close enough to walk to train station and bus station. Bright and cheery. Bathrooms are quite small, but there are two of them. All in all a good experience."

"The cottage was comfortable and had everything we needed. Frances suggested two places for dinner, and they were both really good. She also gave us tips about the hike we wanted to do and recommended a place for lunch afterwards. It’s a beautiful area. If you go, walk down the road to the lake."

"Amazing view from the cottage with hot tub."

"Sehr schöner Aufenthalt"

"We really enjoyed our stay. Workers were wonderful, food was fantastic at the restaurant, hot tub was great and private, house was spacious and great layout. The only complaint was the beds were hard."

"Beautiful view! Hot tub was lovely. The cabin was spacious with a good layout. The restaurant was delicious. "

"Great property as a base to explore glencoe and surrounding areas. Great for a single person or a couple. Enjoyed the peace and closeness to a pub nearby. Very cozy bothy and very unique. And cherry on top is really good wifi if you need to work a bit."

"Super cozy A-frame cabin with spectacular views of the lock. Was compact for the 2 adults and 2 teenagers, but we all fit and enjoyed our stay. Tiny and stocked kitchen. The view is definitely the main draw, and was nice to use the hot tub too. Walking to the hotel to have dinner was a nice perk."
