"Staying just next to such a historic place was special in itself, for the location alone, it’s a 10/10 for me. Of course, this is not a luxury hotel from a large international chain, but for one night it was absolutely fine, comfortable enough, and exactly what I needed. The only real downside was finding something to eat late in the evening. Around 10:00 p.m., the kitchens in the area were already closed, and even with several hotels and bars nearby, there was nowhere to order food. Overall, I was happy with my stay, especially because of the incredible location."

"The hotel is like country style. So of in the attic with pointed ceiling. Very cozy but could sleep 3. It is not located in the hotel but in nearby. walk through stone steps and cobble street. They kindly sent a young boy to handle my luggage. It's a romantic experience in the island. Morning, afternoon, and evening, The atmosphere was very romantic."

"The Mercure is a great property in a wonderful location. It’s located in a gated village type area. Walk to restaurants, galleries and the shuttle to Mont Saint Michel is across the street. "My wife and I stayed for two nights in September 26. This was our first stay in St Malo and we wanted a central location for our stay. The hotel was fantastic. A very short walk from the main car parks and in the heart of the city, just off the main drag. The hotel itself is very good; the staff were excellent; breakfast was great. The hotel sent a pre-stay survey to help them make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We had great restaurant and bar recommendations, and everything felt really personal. The hotel belongs to a family that also has creperies and bakeries in the city. The quality of the breakfast pastries was fantastic. The best mini pain au chocolat Ive had in ages. Highly recommended"
