"Door wasnt sealed properly and people could see through the cracks. Bathtub wouldnt hold water. Was in a nonsmoking room...neither of us smoked in the room but the owner still says we did and charged us $50 after repeatedly calling my phone back to back. Breakfast that was included is nothing but waffles you have to make yourself and some old cereal with spoiled milk. Couldve overlooked most of this, though, if he hadnt decided to harass me with the phone calls. "

"Our family enjoyed our time on the lake. The views were beautiful and it was peaceful. Easy check in/out, and communication was good. Only suggestion would be to keep the grill clean, because we couldn’t enjoy it. Over all great experience!"

"Room wasnt cleaned very well-trash in waste basket, leftovers in fridge, shower cra ked and dirty, blankets stained with sweatstains..breakfast was good and staff friendly..kids running up and down hall being loud late at night causing disturbance but overall ok.."

"My family and I had an extended stay at The Vineyard on Big Bear Creek this spring, and it was a wonderful experience from start to finish. The home is incredibly comfortable, thoughtfully maintained, and very well stocked with everything we needed for a relaxing stay.We had three generations staying together, and the property suited all of us perfectly. There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out, while still offering great areas to gather and spend quality time together. It’s clear the home is well cared for, which made our stay even more enjoyable.Grocery, pharmacy and area parks are very convenient. We really enjoyed the park in Oakboro - it had great trails to walk and play/picnic areas for kids Overall, we truly enjoyed our time here and would happily return. It’s a great choice for families."

Soaps/shampoo/detergents, pots/pans/dishes, kitchen appliances, spices, outdoor activities were all provided. We enjoyed kayaking and paddle boarding around the lake and would definitely come back!"
