"Wonderful stay, very nice, polite and helpful staff which is quite out of the ordinary for the Netherlands where service is generally and mostly inexistent. To illustrate this, I reported a leak problem with my shower a few hours after checking in. The concierge reported it promptly but maintenance chose to ignore it and it was not fixed until the last evening of my 3-day stay and my reporting the problem 4 times… This kind of situation should never happen in a hotel of this level. "The hotel is ideally located next to Centraal Station. The canal boats are opposite the hotel entrance, and lovely restaurants/ bars & souvenir shops are only a short walk away. The hotel is basic but clean and bright. I will definitely stay here next time I visit Amsterdam."

"The room was oriented very strangely, but I assume that is also because it’s European. Otherwise enjoyed the stay. Room was clean, staff was helpful. Breakfast wasn’t as much as other hotels but had the basics for a quick eat."
